Overview
The BETA-6 features a precision humidity sensor within a 16ft remote probe assem- bly. Simply plug in your humidity / dehumidify device to the power outlet on the bottom of the BETA-6. The user can select separate “day / night” humidity settings and the photocell built into the BETA-6 will automatically start controlling your device. (Settings from 20-90% rH) Either humidiers or dehumidiers can be controlled by the BETA-6.

OVERVIEW

Thank you for purchasing the TrolMaster's BETA-6 Day/Night Humidity Controller.

BETA-6 offers indoor gardeners an economical and simple method of monitoring and controlling humidity level within the grow area. It utilizes a highly visible and intuitive LED screen to let you know current humidity level or max/min humidity recorded values.

Choose your desired humidity setpoint for day and night mode. When the humidity is lower than the setpoint, the controller will automatically turn on the power supply of the humidifier for humidifying purpose and the its LED indicator stays on. When the humidity is higher than the setpoint, the controller will automatically turn on the power supply of dehumidifier for dehumidifying purpose and the corresponding LED indicator stays on.

It can also record the max and min humidity records during usage.

A buit-in photocell located on the sensor automatically detects the day and night status, controlling the humidity in day/night mode separately. A remote humidity sensor with 16 feet long cable allows close placement to the plant canopy.

INSTALLATION

Mount the Controller on the wall, place the sensor at plant height in a well- ventilated area.
Connect the 2-in-1 sensor(SA-H1) to the Controller.
Plug the Controller into a 120V NEMA 5-15 wall outlet.
Plug a humidifier or dehumidifier into the power outlet of the unit. Ensure that the device has proper voltage (120V/240V) and not exceed its max amperage rating (10A).

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Reading Humidity

Connect the Humidity/Light 2-in-1 sensor (SA-H1) to the connector on the bottom. After power-on, the LED screen willdisplay current measured humidity level.

2. Set Humidifying or Dehumidifying Mode

Press the HOME button for 1 time, the Humidifying LED indicator or the Dehumidifying LED indicator will be flashing and no digital display on the LED screen. Press UP or DOWN button to convert between Humidifying and Dehumidifying mode. The unit will automatically save the change.

When the connected device is for humidifying purpose (such ashumidifier), please select the Humidifying mode. When the connected device is for dehumidifying purpose (such as dehumidifier), please select the Humidifying mode.

3. Set DaySetpoint

Press the Home button for 2 times, the Day Setpoint LED indicator will be flashing and the LED screen will display current humidity Day Setpoint. Press UP or DOWN button to change the setpoint. The unit will automatically save the change.

When the humidifying mode is selected (humidifier connected) and the humidity is detected BELOW the setpoint, the BETA-6 Controller will automatically turn on the power supply of the humidifier and its LED indicator stays on. On the contrary, when the dehumidifying mode is selected (dehumidifier connected) and the humidity is detected ABOVE the setpoint, the BETA-6 Controller will automatically turn on the power supply of the dehumidifier and its LED indicator stays on.

4. Set Night Setpoint

Press the Home button for 3 times, the Night Setpoint LED indicator will be flashing and the LED screen will display current humidity Night Setpoint. Press UP or DOWN button to change the setpoint. The unit will automatically save the change.

5. Max/Min Recorded Value

After power-on, the LED screen will display the current humidity. Press UP or DOWN button, the LED screen will display the Max or Min recorded value respectively. lt will keep flashing for 1 minute and then turn back to normal measured humidityvalue. While the value is flashing, long press HOME button and the Max or Min recorded value will be deleted.

6. Restore the Factory Settings

To restore the factory setting, press and hold HOME button before plugging the Controller into wall outlet. After power-on, the LED screen will display “rESt" and then display “donE" after 3 senconds. FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
